Start this event with coffee and pastries at the Historic Fourth Ward School Museum. After a brief overview of the history of firefighting on the Comstock, Steve Frady from the Comstock Firemen’s Museum will guide you on a walking tour along B Street, the former location of 5 fire stations. We have special permission to visit the former site of the Corporation Firehouse now located on private property. You will continue around to C Street and end at the Comstock Firemen’s Museum. There you will see original firefighting equipment dating as far back as 1839.
